Festive links for Friday

Happy Friday!

Halloween is right around the corner... and I haven't planned a thing. We don't have costumes, pumpkins or plans. That's what this weekend is for, right?

Here are 5 festive links to get into Halloween mode:
Doughnut pumpkins // Pumpkin pull apart bread // Caramel apple bar // Tablescape + garland diy // Halloween candy bark

I love the idea of leftover halloween candy bark. Such an easy recipe and a crowd pleaser the next week in the office! Here's a past recipe and guide for peppermint bark. So good. So easy.

To be honest, it isn't my favorite holiday. But I am looking forward to staying in with the bird and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. I always love seeing the fun costumes.

I am not the most inspired by Halloween either but, I do love the festive decorations and when I see kids get dressed up. Adults can get really creative too! hehe

But, I do love how Halloween becomes an usher for all the seasonal/holiday fun that follows - mostly Thanksgiving, which is definitely a favorite!! =D

For as much as I love candy (which is a whole freaking lot) you'd think I'd love halloween. I hate it. HATE it. And I don't even know why! haha! But that halloween bark looks so yummy to me!

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween either. We're going to a pumpkin carving party tonight. On actual Halloween, we're going to early vote and have dinner with our friends. Love the candy bark though! xo
