Weekend, News and Updates

Hope you had a great weekend! The highlights of mine were pretty flowers, ice cream cones and baseball games.
On Saturday, we went to the As game in (late) celebration of the bird's birthday.
I am a true Giants fan, but baseball games are fun no matter what.

Getting back into swing of things is tougher than I thought. I'm trying to get back into a blogging schedule/eating at home/workout rhythm over here... and it's definitely taken a few weeks+ to do so.
But... I did sign up for The Dailey Method this week! So excited to try out Barre for the first time. I will definitely be reviewing this post for some beginners tips. Thanks Amanda! But either way, I'm sure this picture will depict my first class. ;)

On another exciting note, I got a job!! I am very excited to be back to work and doing something that makes me happy.

Coffee Table accessories

This week's home inspiration comes in the form of coffee table accessories.
Bone domino set // Fashion Memoir book set // Odds & Ends tray // Elephant match strike // Hammered copper candle

This domino set is gorgeous and that odds & ends tray would be a perfect coffee table piece. I also love scouring places like TJ Maxx for fun decorative pieces.

Pinterest: Home Inspiration

We aren't back in our own home yet after moving back from Dublin. But I am so excited to get back in and set it all up.

Here's some Pinterest inspiration I've found lately:
one // two // three // four

I've also heard good things about Houzz... so I might need to sign up for an account there too. I love the neutrals and bright whites. This bedroom works well since we have dark hardwood floors throughout our home.

Back to School

Back to school shopping used to be one of my favorite things. I still love shopping... and will take the excuse even though I'm not in school anymore.
textbook glasses // bicycle matchbook // ceramic tray // acrylic tape dispenser + stapler
ceramic clock // zip artiste pouch // gilded gold tray

I am job searching... so it almost applies, right? So excited to get back to work after our lovely stay in Dublin. Do you have any tips or tricks to share with this girl for job searching??

Home Sweet Home

It's been ages. I swear I am still alive and actually miss this little blog of mine.
So, we are officially home! Yay!
We have been enjoying time with family and this gorgeous California weather, that brings the prettiest of sunsets.
1 // The last shot in Dublin, packing and celebrating.
2 // Headed north from San Francisco.
3 // Action shot of the bird and I at our Welcome Home Party
4 // An amazing way to head back home... we got a complimentary upgrade on our flight! #firsttimeever

Hoping to post more regularly again now that we are getting settled and the internet is up!

Life Lately // Instagram Recap

It has been crazy around here to say the least. Sorry for the radio silence!

We got back from our European grand finale trip last week. Here is our collective instagram recap:
1, 2-Venice, Italy  //  3-Dubrovnik, Croatia  //  4-Santorini, Greece  //  5, 6-Corfu, Greece  //  7-Istanbul, Turkey

I hope to get a full recap from all of our destinations up soon. But with over 1,000 photos and moving across the world, it may take a bit of time. Some plane editing may be in the works.

On that note... On Wednesday, after 20 months in Dublin, it's time to pack up and head back to California. We are beyond excited to be moving back home!

Smoothie Recipes

Smoothies have been my go-to since it started warming up a bit. They are filling and I love how refreshing they are in the summer (which is a relative term in Dublin).

Here are two of my favorites:
This one is perfect for breakfast. It's filling and nutritious with the added spinach and flax seed.

I like this one for a afternoon or after dinner snack since it's a bit sweeter. I love almond butter, but you can definitely substitute peanut butter.

Tell me your favorites so I can start mixing it up over here!
